CO2: Energy-efficient production

Throughout the entire value chain, SWISS KRONO Switzerland relies on resource-saving and energy-efficient manufacturing. Over 90 percent of the thermal energy used is obtained from renewable sources and is climate-neutral. Since 2010, SWISS KRONO Switzerland has been operating an energy management system designed to increase efficiency (saving energy, multiple use of energy) and reduce CO2 emissions (substituting fossil fuels). The infrastructure has been gradually adapted and processes are being continuously optimised. In this way, we are making an important contribution to achieving the national objective of reducing greenhouse gases for a healthy climate.
