SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB: Licensees
The SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB system is patented and may only be produced by authorised licensees.
SWISS KRONO offers them full technical support and assistance for marketing.
As a licensee, you convert SWISS KRONO OSB/4 boards into large prefabricated MAGNUMBOARD® OSB panels indoors using state-of-the-art CNC technology, which ensures outstanding precision and quality. You can then either use these panels for walls, roofs and ceilings in construction projects for your own customers, or else supply them to other contractors. The latter are thus able to offer their clients construction of turnkey houses using MAGNUMBOARD® OSB panels even though they cannot build these themselves.
SWISS KRONO Services for Licensees
MAGNUMBOARD® OSB licensees are in a position to offer professional users and timber construction firms valuable partnering opportunities. Besides comprehensive services for driving sales (advertising materials, sales promotions etc.), they provide in-depth support and advice for planning and building with MAGNUMBOARD® OSB. In collaboration with SWISS KRONO, they inform their clients about applications, techniques, structural analysis, building physics and more.

3B TEC MagnumBoard GmbH
3B TEC MagnumBoard GmbH, founded in 2011, is based in Ludwigsfelde about 30 kilometres from Berlin. The firm mainly makes and supplies prefabricated customised MAGNUMBOARD® OSB units to carpentry shops and building contractors, while also occasionally assembling homes as unfinished shells. It has been a SWISS KRONO licensee for several years. Thanks to the layered structure of the raw MAGNUMBOARD® OSB, it is straightforward to make cutouts in the inside layers only over the entire height or length. MAGNUMBOARD® OSB elements lend themselves for making both public and private buildings. 3B TEC MagnumBoard GmbH provides extensive consulting and support services to users and timber construction companies, collaborates with architects and structural engineers and on request also assigns experienced master roofers or assembly foremen to projects. The firm also has a metalworking department to serve customers who need other types of constructions besides prefabricated timber panels and modules.

Balteschwiler AG
The firm of Bateschwiler AG in Laufenburg, Switzerland was founded by Blasius Baltschwiler in 1791. Today its roughly 100 employees use state-of-the-art equipment to fashion innovative wood products. One of the country’s most advanced CNC timber shaping and cutting machines enables them to very flexibly work and join large-format solid wood boards, also assembling them into complete modules on request. In addition, Balteschwiler AG boasts one of Switzerland’s leading moulding and surface coating plants and is well-known for its terrace and wood protection systems.

Debeuckelaere
The family-run firm of Debeuckelaere was established in 1860. For many years its main business was operating a sawmill. The current owner, Herbrand Perneel, acquired it in 1996.
The machines were updated and automated at that time. Debeuckelaere also invested in new CAD software with 3D capabilities to optimize the prefabrication process.
The demand for ready-cut and prefabricated timber components is continuing to grow.
SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB enables Debeuckelaere to implement solid timber housing construction projects. For this purpose, it founded a sister company called HOUTMASSIEFBOUW - SAWCO NV which also benefits from the mother company’s experience and technical expertise. Now the goal is to automate production to an even greater extent, which ideally fits to the Debeuckelaere corporate group’s vision. Debeuckelaere supplies carpentry shops and timber construction firms with SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB components.

MMD – MagnumBoard-Manufaktur-Deutschland emerged from the Poppenhausen-based carpentry firm of Dieter Römmelt Zimmerei und Hallenbau and became a licensee of SWISS KRONO Germany in 2016. A tradition-steeped but modern family-run enterprise, it dates back to the start of the 20th century and is now in the fourth generation. For 50 years now, Römmelt has specialised in building halls and arenas, focusing mainly on equestrian arenas.

WOOD & BUILD
WOOD & BUILD was founded in Belgium in 2016. Based on its extensive experience in conventional construction, it was easy for the family-run firm to migrate to more cost-effective, high-performance methods. Now its main activities are producing and using MAGNUMBOARD® OSB. It performs the structural calculations itself and also produces the required steel components in-house. As the demand for cut-to-size timber sections is steadily growing, the firm now uses a double gluing table and a CNC machining centre from Uniteam UT to make prefabricated modules from SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB. The biggest advantage of making just one product is the technical expertise and experience that the firm has accumulated over the years. Customers can assemble the modules themselves or request WOOD & BUILD to deploy its specialised team.
