Swiss quality and roots
SWISS KRONO sp. z o.o. (formerly KRONOPOL) is part of SWISS KRONO Group, the world leader in wood-based products.
The company was founded in 1994 as a result of the acquisition of the State Factory of Particle Boards by the holding. Signing a notarial deed on 7th January gave rise to a new reality.
The Swiss investor, providing a multimillion capital, quickly modernized the machinery and technology. Thanks to this, the quality of produced boards was noticed and appreciated by customers. That was only the beginning of change and investment.

SWISS KRONO POLAND
Milestone
1994 – the beginning of the investment and the development of the furniture industry products.
Launched production line for particle boards, which is a revolution for the factory in Żary. This is the first ContiRoll press in Poland, providing the best parameters of boards, unattainable in other technologies.
1997 – Kronopol enters the construction products market.
We start the run to produce OSB boards, the world's first in ContiRoll technology. It is an investment on an international scale.
1998 – development of new products.
Created third line in ContiRoll technology to produce MDF boards. This gives boost to the development of new products, mainly laminate flooring and wall panels.
Continuous development
From the very beginning, SWISS KRONO POLAND has invested in the development of the production of refined goods, developing lamination department, postforming, laminate flooring workshop and production of HPL. Along with the extension of product range, it expanded the distribution network, both in Poland and in foreign markets.
Today SWISS KRONO exports its products to 70 countries arround the world.
