SWISS KRONO OSB anti-termite

SWISS KRONO anti-termite is SWISS KRONO OSB/3 EN 300 which has been additionally impregnated with a lastingly effective pesticide for optimal protection from destructive termites.

SWISS KRONO anti-termite meets the special requirements of regions such as southern France, Australia, Africa and the USA.

Due to its high strength, SWISS KRONO OSB/3 EN 300 is an ideal engineered wood product for all loadbearing and reinforcing applications. Despite its relatively low weight, it has a resistance to bending similar to that of plywood.

In long-term tests conducted in real situations,  SWISS KRONO anti-termite has suffered no termite damage whatsoever, whereas conventional OSB boards are severely damaged.

SWISS KRONO anti-termite is available in the following versions for a variety of applications:

Straight-edge - ContiFinish^®

• A ContiFinish® surface permits installation in moist rooms.
• Pesticide-impregnated to resist termite attack

Tongue-and-groove (T+G)

• Also suitable for jointless laying in moist rooms like bathrooms and kitchens
• When using it as interior boarding for roofs in timber-frame construction there is no need to additionally seal with plastic membrane

LONGBOARD

• A long OSB version, available in lengths from 6,501mm to 18,000mm
• An ideal wood-based material for large-scale modular applications
