18 out of 200 - that could also be the headline for our 2023 apprentices. Because our new team members at the plant in Heiligengrabe prevailed over 200 applicants who wanted to start their training with us.
Admittedly, the size of our factory site can be intimidating at first. We like to compare it to the area of the Heidepark Soltau, especially for young people. After all, almost all trainees have visited the park at least once. The two welcome days for our apprentices are all about getting to know the plant and breaking down uncertainties: team play is in demand for the newcomers and our team of trainers is in close contact with the apprentices from the very first day. "It is indeed not only very exciting for the apprentices, but also for us. Many of the young people have already completed an internship at SWISS KRONO. But when they then start as apprentices, they also develop as personalities. We notice very quickly during the welcome days who can contribute which skills to the group," emphasises training manager Tina Lemcke.
In the "war of talents", as HR Manager Christian Baumann calls it, SWISS KRONO is very well positioned in Northwest Brandenburg. "We do a lot of work for this in schools, during internships and at training fairs," he affirms. "The large number of people interested in our apprenticeships again this year is the success of this commitment."

And another tip: Apply now for an apprenticeship in 2024! We have already been busy advertising at the jobstart fair in Neuruppin in September and have already had numerous conversations with young people. Because we want to welcome you as apprentices again in 2024!
