Large, prefabricated and extremely dimensionally stable walls, ceilings and roof elements can be simply and flexibly created with dimensions up to 18 x 2.8m. The end result is lastingly windtight buildings with a minimum of joints. As the SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB system involves extensive prefabrication, it even lets complex and sophisticated modern architectural concepts be realised in a minimum of time. The system leaves no wishes unmet, whether it is used on its own as a complete building solution or combined with other construction methods.
The storey-high formats can be taken advantage of to erect buildings with only a single SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB panel on each side. The system delivers all of the advantages of conventional solid timber wall, ceiling and roof construction while enabling major gains in efficiency and cost savings. It is even approved for buildings up to 13m high, units with up to 400m² of floor space, subterranean structures and various other less-common building types.
With story-high formats of 2.80 meters in height, buildings can be constructed over their entire length with only one SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB element. The system offers all advantages of a solid wall, ceiling and roof construction. It saves costs, time and due to the low wall thickness of the elements of the interior space. This creates a plus in terms of living space without losses in terms of thermal insulation or sound insulation.
With the SWISS KRONO MAGNUMBOARD® OSB construction system, houses up to building class 5 can be realized.

In order to meet this growing demand, we have already rebuilt production and logistics at the SWISS KRONO factory in Heiligengrabe in 2016. Since then, we have been the only manufacturer in the world that is able to produce OSB boards of various qualities in lengths of up to 18 meters.
