Ceremonial inauguration of the Design Station

The new Design Station of our SWISS KRONO GROUP in Wittstock/Dosse has been in use since the turn of the year. The historic locomotive shed was elaborately restored and now serves us as a marketing and communication centre. Here, for the first time, we are exhibiting all the products of our group of companies at a central location. At the end of March, Martin Brettenthaler, CEO of the SWISS KRONO GROUP, officially inaugurated the Design Station. Among the guests were Brandenburg's Minister of Finance Katrin Lange and the Mayor of Wittstock Jörg Gehrmann. SWISS KRONO Managing Directors Hendrik Hecht and Robert Schneider also used the opening ceremony to thank their project manager René Schütte for the successful implementation of the major project.   

The Design Station is a joint project of the city of Wittstock and our group. The city owns the property and carried out the renovation work. These were supported by the state of Brandenburg with extensive subsidies. We are tenants of this impressive historic location. This is a great gain for the Northwest Brandenburg region, because this is where we will meet our customers from all over the world for product presentations, training and meetings in the future. Internationally, Wittstock/Dosse is part of the Berlin metropolitan region and very easy to reach. A central argument for the placement of the SWISS KRONO GROUP's marketing centre in the state of Brandenburg.

As a sign of the bond with the location, Martin Brettenthaler presented the mayor of Wittstock with a special gift at the inauguration ceremony: a group of regionally typical trees from the countries where the Group's plants are located to be planted in the town.
