Investment to Expand Production Capacity in Hungary

We have invested 6.5 million euros at our Hungarian factory to more than double its daily production of tongue-and-groove OSB boards from 300 to 700 square metres a day. The production line in question is used to make the increasingly popular BE.YOND ecoWALL panels, which will make an even more noticeable contribution to the firm’s overall sales as a result.
Our operation in Vásárosnamény has advanced to become the SWISS KRONO Group’s most profitable. Martin Brettenthaler, the Group’s CEO and management board chair, stated in a video produced by the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) that “all of the prerequisites for a success story are met here: a good market, a market-oriented economy, an excellently qualified team and a good network of suppliers.”
This investment in BE.YOND ecoWALL wall panels is yet another milestone along our firm’s successful trajectory. The work is scheduled to be completed in September 2023.
