SWISS KRONO AG has been awarded the Rating Certificate. This seal of quality marks the company out as an attractive, trustworthy business partner with a stable corporate situation and excellent payment practices.

SWISS KRONO AG is committed to ensuring sustainable climate protection and is enrolled in the EnAW (Energy Agency of the Swiss Private Sector) energy management system, which is audited by the Swiss government. Our voluntary declaration of enrolment attests that we are committed to actively reducing CO2 emissions and optimising energy efficiency.

SWISS KRONO AG is a member of the Association of European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF). The association initiated the development of the EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) back in 2009, creating the conditions for increased transparency and product safety for end users.

Our SWISS KRONO products have been awarded the FSC® seal. The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) trademark is a global symbol of transparency and credibility. It guarantees that the wood used in a product comes from sustainable, environmentally responsible forest management. Products with the FSC seal are available on request.

The SWISS LABEL seal of quality is awarded to quality products and services from Switzerland. It illustrates the origin of our products and also symbolises the close ties that SWISS KRONO AG has with Switzerland as a business location and place of work.

SWISS KRONO products are certified with the HSH (Herkunftszeichen Schweizer Holz) label. The label declares that the wood used in a product comes from Swiss forests and that wood products come from companies based in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. It represents Switzerland's strict standards and illustrates our famous Swiss quality.

SWISS KRONO AG is PEFC-certified, demonstrating its commitment to the environment and its responsible use of wood as a (raw) material. The PEFC combines ecological, social and economic factors. It guarantees end-to-end monitoring of the processing chain – from our certified forests to wood-processing companies to the finished product on the shelf. SWISS KRONO AG is accredited by ARV Baustoffrecycling Schweiz (Swiss demolition, excavation and recycling association). The ARV association stands for forward-looking concepts and measures in the field of construction materials recycling. It focuses on promoting the careful use of raw materials and the reuse of quality-tested recyclable materials.

SWISS KRONO AG undergoes regular unannounced audits by Bern University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the audits is to inspect the provision, sorting, classification and measurement of industrial wood supplies.

Our products are CARB2-certified and therefore comply with the strict emissions standards of the California Air Resources Board for formaldehyde emissions. The certification stipulates requirements for the formaldehyde values of uncoated chipboard panels, fibreboards and plywood. SWISS KRONO AG is committed to ensuring compliance with the strict limit value specifications.

Our SWISS KRONO laminate flooring has been awarded the FloorScore certificate and complies with the strict requirements for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde emissions for classrooms and offices. The particularly low emissions ensure good indoor air quality.
