OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is a wooden product – a flatly pressed three-layer board manufactured from rectangular strands (flakes) by the method of hot pressing in condition of high pressure and temperature with the use of synthetic resin as a bonding agent. This is the first board of wooden origin developed specially for construction industry. OSB board contains 90% of natural wood. Our board does not have any projections, cracks or other internal defects. Owing to the modern manufacturing technology, OSB is characterized by parameters that can be compared with parameters of plywood. OSB manufactured by ТОВ “SWISS KRONO” is distinguished by high density, stability of the form, excellent weather resistance, good sound isolation, simplicity of cutting and processing.
The microstructure of interconnected strands protects board edges from breaking off in the process of nailing, ensures high stiffness and durability and both bending resistance and shear resistance, what is extremely important in frame house building.
OSB 1 – universal board that does not resist load, used for internal works in dry conditions;
OSB 2 – load-resistant board, used for works in dry conditions;
OSB 3 – load-resistant board, used for works in conditions of moderate humidity, for internal and external works;
OSB 4 – board that resist heavy loads in conditions of high humidity.
