HERRINGBONE meets Berlin chic

New partnership with event location Gebrüder Fritz

Our HERRINGBONE slogan, 'the classical reinterpreted', suits this new partnership like 'a fist to the eye', as the Berliners say. Classic style in a new interpretation. This applies equally to our KRONOTEX HERRINGBONE collection and to Gebrüder Fritz. On the top floor of a classic old Berlin building on Ku'damm, proprietor Kathrin Limburg runs a venue brimming with style and urban chic for promotional events, photo shoots and private functions. Her clients include international brands, artists, organisations and associations.

Following extensive renovations last winter, styling expert Kathrin Limburg and her master painter Dörthe Krüger-Mähl came up with the idea of perfecting the room design with new floors. Limburg was completely won over after visiting the SWISS KRONO plant in Heiligengrabe. "We have wonderful rooms in the Fritz. SWISS KRONO has an impressive range of wonderful floors. They're a perfect match."

For her library, Limburg selected the dark, smoky Calais Oak décor from the nine décors in the KRONOTEX HERRINGBONE collection. The floor colour beautifully underscores the anthracite walls. For the kitchen and dining room, where guests are now and again spoilt by star chefs, the designer opted for a classically timeless décor from the Villeroy & Boch heritage collection from SWISS KRONO. Harmony Oak bathes the rooms in a soft, flattering light. "Our new herringbone floor from SWISS KRONO shows once again that the most important aspect of successful room design is the interplay of the right floor with the wall colour," says Kathrin Limburg.

Gebrüder Fritz has provided SWISS KRONO with an excellent opportunity to present our product. "An environment full of creativity with a select audience," Fabian Kölliker, SWISS KRONO Group's Head of Marketing, says of the collaboration with Gebrüder Fritz. "We're excited about the ideas that we'll developing together in the future."
