IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Establishing of global corporate standards and guidelines for LAN/WLAN and WAN networks
- Full management of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and associated monitoring systems
- Identify, research, and resolve 2nd & 3rd level Technical Support problems related to the Internet, Firewalls, LANs, WLANs, WANs and other Network components
- Continuously optimize the network regarding performance, reliability, security, and cost
- Active cooperation with network solution providers
- Ongoing monitoring of network infrastructure
- Support global and local projects and demands with all network related topics
Your skills:
- 3 years experience in a senior role in enterprise networks
- Graduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunication Services, or similar
- Knowledge about network technologies, protocols in switching, routing, and next generation firewalls
- Practical knowledge of Cisco (routers, switches, access points) and Fortinet (Fortigate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager) IT solutions
- Maintain, optimize and develope network services in close cooperation with internal & external service providers
- Knowledge of SNMP, dedicated tools: e.g. Nagios, ZABBIX
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE 4 or higher
- Readiness for shift work
- English and German (B2 or higher)
